Daugthers of Tabitha Charity
Tabitha's resurrection by Peter demonstrates her value to her community, representing hope and
renewal – themes central to our ministry's work with young women in Uganda.

Our Story
Biblical & Historical Inspiration
The ministry draws its inspiration from Tabitha (also known as Dorcas), a remarkable disciple mentioned in Acts 9:36-41.
She was renowned for her exceptional charity, compassion, and dedication to serving others through good works.
Tabitha's story is particularly powerful as she was known for making garments for widows and caring for those marginalized in her society. Her life symbolizes the empowerment of women and the transformative impact of service to others.
Tabitha's resurrection by Peter demonstrates her value to her community, representing hope and renewal – themes central to our ministry's work with young women in Uganda.
Our Mission
